I. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. New Product Development
- Participate in ideation and formulation of new beverage products (coffee, tea, juice, etc.);
- Conduct product testing and adjust ingredients to optimize flavor, stability, and cost.
2. Product Improvement
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, store staff, and sales data;
- Propose improvements to formulas, processes, or packaging to enhance product quality.
3. Product Launch Support:
- Prepare product samples, technical specs, BOM, and processing instructions;
- Coordinate with QA, Operations, and suppliers to ensure production aligns with R&D standards.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, QA, Purchasing, and Suppliers to ensure smooth and timely product launches.
5. Market Research & Trend Monitoring:
- Stay up to date with beverage trends and competitor products;
- Proactively suggest innovative product ideas based on market insights.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain proper records of formulas, testing results, product costing, and related production information.
II. REQUIREMENTS
- College/University degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Processing, or equivalent fields;
- At least 1 year of experience in beverage R&D or relevant fields;
- Prior experience in F&B companies, beverage factories, or retail chains is a plus;
- Understanding of coffee and tea characteristics (taste profiles, brewing methods) is a strong advantage;
- Familiarity with barista and beverage equipment (e.g., espresso machines, blenders, tea brewers, dispensers) is a plus;
- Solid knowledge of beverage ingredients, formulation, and production processes;
- Sensory evaluation skills and formulation adjustment;
- Strong organization, teamwork, and communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
