I. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, develop, and test new formulations that align with consumer trends while ensuring cost targets and operational requirements are met;
- Develop and standardize product formulas, operating procedures (SOP), and technical specifications to ensure product consistency across the store network;
- Collaborate with suppliers to source new ingredients, materials, and packaging; evaluate their quality and suitability for production processes;
- Work with factories/production teams to conduct pilot trials, scale up production, and resolve arising technical issues;
- Monitor market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor products to propose innovation ideas,
- Conduct sensory evaluations and assess compliance with food safety standards and legal regulations;
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
II. REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology / Food Chemistry or related fields;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. Prior experience in manufacturing or F&B is preferred;
- Hands-on experience working with factories, production lines, and pilot-scale trials;
- Proficiency in developing product formulas and standardizing store-level operating procedures;
- Strong technical skills in food processing with good sensory evaluation ability;
- Solid knowledge of raw materials and finished products;
- Ability to analyze, quantify, and apply regulations on raw material usage at manufacturing scale;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Good communication skills;
- Detail-oriented, careful, honest, eager to learn, highly responsible, and able to work well under pressure.
