I. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
1. PRODUCT & SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- Plan, assign, and supervise the QA team’s activities to ensure the successful achievement of department plans and KPIs.
- Organize and conduct supplier audits, approvals, and performance monitoring within the assigned scope.
- Review, verify, and approve quality documentation for products, raw materials, and suppliers.
- Manage and monitor testing, shelf-life studies, re-testing activities, and quality surveillance programs within the assigned scope.
- Monitor laboratory test results, analyze quality trends, and propose control measures to guarantee product quality.
INCIDENT MANAGEMENT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Receive, investigate, and coordinate the resolution of quality issues, food safety incidents, and non-conforming products.
- Conduct or guide the team in performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), as well as developing and monitoring Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor the effectiveness of CAPA and analyze incident trends to propose continuous improvement initiatives.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Assign, guide, and supervise the daily tasks and responsibilities of team members.
- Train, coach, and develop the professional competencies and technical skills of QA staff.
- Evaluate team performance (KPIs) and propose solutions to optimize group productivity.
COORDINATION & REPORTING
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and partners to resolve issues related to quality and food safety.
- Prepare periodic reports, track KPIs, and report the QA team’s operational performance to the Line Manager.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Adhere to all working procedures, company policies, rules, and regulations.
- Monitor and guide MD/suppliers/OFC to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
OTHER DUTIES
- Perform other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.
- Propose systemic improvements to optimize operational workflows.
II. WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- University degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, or other related fields
- Strong knowledge of product quality documentation management; Food Safety regulations and relevant legal requirements
- Proficiency in HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 standards
- Strong expertise in supplier auditing and evaluation.
- Familiarity with product testing, shelf-life studies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- At least 3 years of experience in QA/QC/Food Safety roles (Must).
- At least 1 – 2 years of experience in a Senior, Leader, or equivalent position; Prior experience in the food retail chain or F&B sector is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic technical English.
- Adaptability: be able to adapt to changing requirements and work effectively under high pressure.
