I. JOB SUMMARY

Be responsible for managing and optimizing planogram (POG) standards and store layouts across the chain to maximize product performance and space efficiency. Analyze display effectiveness, recommend improvements, and advise the MD team on market trends and category strategies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of layouts for new store openings and store renovations.

II. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. POG & Layout Management (Drive store display performance and space optimization)

- Manage and control POG standards and ensure effective implementation across all stores.

- Evaluate POG performance, propose adjustments, and guide the Operations team on product display optimization.

- Develop and standardize layout and POG by store model and by region.

- Optimize display areas to maximize sales productivity and space efficiency.

- Manage and analyze reports on shelf performance, display effectiveness, and floor plan optimization.

2. New Store Opening & Renovation (Ensure accurate and timely execution)

- Collaborate with Store Development (SD) and Operations (OP) teams to finalize layouts for new stores.

- Manage layout and POG setup progress for new store openings.

- Coordinate with MD, OP, SD, Marketing (MKT), and related departments to execute store renovation projects as required.

3. Strategic Analysis & Advisory (Support category growth and competitiveness)

- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor display strategies.

- Advise the MD team on category strategy and display optimization based on data insights.

4. Team Leadership & Control (Ensure consistency and compliance)

- Guide, train, support, monitor, and audit store display implementation.

- Lead, coach, and develop POG team members to ensure high performance.

- Ensure compliance with company display standards across the store network.

- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

III. REQUIREMENT

Education and Knowledge

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or related fields.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position or as a Merchandising/MD role in retail or FMCG chains.

- Experience in convenience store or modern trade systems is a strong advantage.

Skills and Abilities

- Strong aesthetic sense and logical thinking in space optimization.

- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability.

- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing a team.

- Solid understanding of products, market trends, competitors, and customer insights.

- Strong coordination and project management skills.
