Be responsible to assist with professional tasks within the Merchandising (MD) team, including drafting and processing commercial agreements, contracts, and trade agreements based on pre-existing templates and finalized terms negotiated by the Merchandisers with suppliers/partners. This role ensures proper documentation, system approval, and coordinates communication with suppliers, partners, and internal teams
I. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Contract Drafting and Management:
- Prepare and draft contracts and trade agreements using pre-existing templates
- Ensure that the contracts reflect the final terms agreed upon by the Merchandiser with suppliers/partners
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all contract details before submitting them for approval
- Submit contracts for approval via the internal system following company procedures
2. Supplier and Partner Communication : send approved contracts, agreements, and relevant documentation to suppliers and external partners
3. Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with Merchandisers to ensure all final terms and conditions are accurately captured in the contracts
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate timely approval and contract processing
4. System and Document Management: ensure timely updates and follow-ups on all pending approvals and submissions
5.Compliance and Standards
- Ensure that all agreements and contracts adhere to company policies and legal guidelines
- Regularly review contract templates and clauses to ensure compliance with current company standards and policies
II. REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduated from College/University in relevant field
- Previous experience in contract management, administrative support, or merchandising-related roles is an advantage
- At least 1 year of experience as a Merchandiser, Purchasing or Buyer Assistant/Admin in a Supermarket or CVS
Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently, possess a high level of responsibility and commitment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with contract management systems is a plus
