I. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Internal Compliance
1. Legal Advisory and Compliance in Labor, Data Protection, and Social Insurance
- Provide legal advice on labor laws, including employment contracts, workplace policies, dispute resolution, and compliance with regulations on social insurance, health insurance, and other employee benefits.
- Advise on data protection policies and ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) regarding the collection, processing, and storage of employee and customer data.
- Support legal compliance across retail operations and other related areas such as corporate governance, consumer protection, and licensing processes.
2. Compliance Management and Monitoring
- Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies related to labor laws, data protection, and social insurance to mitigate legal risks.
- Conduct compliance audits to identify and address risks associated with labor practices, personal data management, and social insurance obligations.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and Relevant teams to monitor compliance in areas such as employee welfare, workplace safety, and operational standards.
3. Training and Capacity Building
- Develop and deliver training programs on labor compliance, social insurance regulations, and data protection policies for store managers and employees.
- Provide guidance on proper handling of employee issues, personal data, and compliance processes to ensure alignment with legal requirements and company policies.
4. Regulatory Monitoring and Risk Management
- Monitor and update management on changes in labor laws, social insurance regulations, and data protection frameworks to ensure continuous compliance.
- Identify potential legal risks in employment management, social insurance obligations, and retail operations, and propose solutions to mitigate these risks.
5. Dispute Resolution and Stakeholder Management
- Support in handling labor disputes, employee grievances, or social insurance claims, ensuring resolutions are compliant with legal standards and company policies.
- Represent the company in dealings with government authorities and other external stakeholders on labor compliance, data protection, and social insurance matters.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel to address complex legal issues effectively.
6. General Support for Company’s operation
- Provide legal support for other retail-related operations
- Ensure all activities across store operations comply with legal requirements and internal policies to maintain operational efficiency and minimize risks.

II. WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Bachelor of Legal
Holding a lawyer practicing certificate is an advantage - Minimum 8 years of experience in legal advisory, compliance, or regulatory roles, preferably in the labor laws, social insurance regulations, and data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
- Strong knowledge of advertising laws, promotions, consumer protection, corporate governance, Retail store activities and licensing processes.
- Proven experience in compliance training, conducting audits, and resolving legal issues in a business environment.
- Experience working with government authorities and managing external legal counsel is a plus.
