I. JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Team Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring the company’s inventory is accurately managed, controlled, and reported. This position is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations, data accuracy, and month-end closing activities for both warehouses and retail stores.

II. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inventory Tracking & Management

  • Track and manage inventory transactions (inbound, outbound, and returns) across warehouses and 220 stores.

  • Monitor input, return, and actual stock quantities at stores and warehouses.

  • Verify and reconcile goods receipt data between the PBI system and accounting software.

  • Compare system records with physical inventory data at stores and warehouses.

  • Issue return invoices to suppliers as requested by relevant departments.

  • Record and document daily deliveries and shipments to maintain up-to-date inventory information.

2. Month-End Closing

  • Record journal entries related to inventory movements in the accounting system.

  • Monitor and report company inventory levels regularly.

  • Perform month-end closing of cost of goods sold (COGS) and ending inventory.

3. Reporting & Other Tasks

  • Prepare and submit monthly inventory reports as requested.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

III. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and inventory management processes.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, or other environments with high-volume inventory transactions.

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and inventory management software.

  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Hard-working, critical thinker, and high integrity with strong ethical standards.
