I. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development & Category Management
- Lead the development of new products and continuous improvement of existing items to align with market demand and business strategy
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to research, test, and commercialize new concepts
- Identify and source differentiated and proprietary products to strengthen competitive advantage
Procurement & Cost Management
- Manage sourcing and procurement of Food Service items and raw materials across all categories
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supply conditions to optimize cost and maximize gross profit
- Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining product quality
Quality Assurance & Food Safety
- Ensure all products meet required standards in quality, quantity, and specifications
- Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene compliance across suppliers and production processes
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
Supplier Management & Sourcing Strategy
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and business partners
- Conduct supplier evaluation, competitive bidding, and sourcing processes in a structured and transparent manner
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary
Market Analysis & Business Planning
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Provide market insights and forecasts to support management decision-making
- Stay updated on food trends, particularly Korean food culture, to drive innovation and category growth
Inventory & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor stock movement, product performance, and lifecycle
- Propose pricing adjustments, promotions, and clearance strategies to optimize inventory and sales performance
Others
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager
II. REQUIREMENTS
1. Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or procurement within F&B, retail
- Proven experience in fresh food, food service, or related categories is highly preferred
- Experience working with suppliers/manufacturers and managing end-to-end product lifecycle

- Strong product development and category management capabilities
- Solid negotiation and procurement skills with a strong cost control mindset
- Good understanding of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and business data
